Dubare is a region popular for its elephant camp located on the banks of the river Kaveri. It is situated near Madikeri in the Kodagu district of Karnataka. Dubare is considered to be the base for Karnataka’s Forest Department, where an elephant training camp is located.

Dubare is situated between the towns of Siddapur and Kushalnagar, where several elephant training camps are located. The area of Dubare is inhabited by the local tribal people, known as Kurbas.
